TECO (Taiwan Embassy Authentication)
Due to the COVID situation in Manila, TECO only accepts documents via scheduled appointment. It is necessary to complete DFA authentication prior to contacting TECO since they now require DFA Serial Number and Keycode before granting any appointment.
Once we submit your documents to TECO, they will further verify each document with PSA as well. Therefore, average processing time for authentication can be between 2 to 4 weeks. Expedited processing is currently unavailable.
For any type of authentication at TECO, our agency will need the following at least:
-
Applicant's passport and ID copies
-
The original document authenticated by DFA
-
Letter of Authorization signed by the applicant
Important :
-
CENOMAR authentication, if for the purposes of transnational marriage, may require additional documents, as well as interview with Taiwanese Embassy.
-
Most documents need to be translated in to Chinese for use in Taiwan. If you want to translate your documents, we can help you in Philippines. Alternatively, we can recommend some good notaries who offer both translation and notarization services in Taiwan.
